Background:
The technician will be responsible for assisting in the planning, configuration, and implementation of WAN/LAN infrastructure. This equipment will consist of, but not limited to; routing, firewall services, wireless, and voice convergence devices.

Requirements:
This role will assist the customer in transitioning the customer's existing infrastructure to a converged network combining the needs of video, voice, and data onto one platform in an effort to increase the customer's overall communications value and efficiency. The candidate will work closely with the customer's engineer and Project Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the configuring and connectivity of agencies to the new customer network. This includes, but not limited to, data circuitry, firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points, and VPN concentrators. The project consists of network designing, equipment configuration/installation, documentation, and troubleshooting.

In addition, the engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support and advice to others on engagements of office relocations and equipment deployments while working with team members and third party organizations. During the project implementation, technological methodologies and components will be utilized.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Supports the planning, configuration, and implementation of reliable, Cisco Infrastructure Support technical solutions
§ Active development and presentation of economic and risk analysis, business cases and project service requests

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Functions as PBX and phone mail administrator, works closely with telephone company and other company personnel to install and repair telephone circuits
· Works with project coordinator for telecommunications capital projects
· Assures that company wireless systems operate within the guidelines set forth by the FCC
· Performs on-site troubleshooting, installation and repairs under the direction of other support organizations as requested
· Works with Central Network personnel configuring routers, hubs, and channel banks

PRIMARY FUNCTION(S):
Performs acquisition support tasks for the Ground Infrastructure Division at the Electronic Systems Center. Primary duties include working with U.S. Air Force Logistics communities to elicit Enterprise Logistics business process requirements using interviews, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business and workflow analysis.
Candidate will act as the liaison between Initiative Owners, Air Force Functional Communities, Logistics Subject Matter Experts (internal and external customers), and GCSS-AF system integrators in support of Air Staff Enterprise Logistics Transformation and Information Technology (IT) initiatives. Must have ability to effectively interpret, decompose, analyze, document, and transition software requirements to the system integrators for capability development in an Air Force Enterprise IT system.
Further activities may include participation in system development lifecycle milestone reviews (requirements, design, test, and deployment) to ensure the requirements are satisfied and mapped to Air Force enterprise business initiatives. Ensures that enterprise data strategies, processes, and initiatives are compliant with the DoD and Air Force Governance and Enterprise Architectures.

Experience/Skills required:

Candidate must have 10+ years of experience and knowledge working within Air Force Logistics processes, data and IT systems. Familiar with Air Force Transformation Initiatives particularly the Expeditionary Combat Support System (ECSS) and Logistics, Installations, and Mission Support – Enterprise View (LIMS-EV). A general understanding of Business Intelligence Tools such as, Cognos, Business Objects, and Open Source is a plus.

Requires candidate to have an organized, structured work style with effective IT Project Management skills and be familiar with Software Development Lifecycle processes. Must have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience with software requirements management, business modeling, processes implementation, use case development, and requirements traceability. PMP and/or Six Sigma Certifications are a plus, but not required. Must be well organized and have outstanding written and oral communication skills, with strong PC skills and proficient in Microsoft applications particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred candidate will be self-motivated, with a high energy level, and a pro-active work ethic.

BS / BA degree required (preferably in a technical discipline)

DoD SECRET clearance required. Estimated travel is 10-20%.

INFORMATON ASSURANCE/ SECURITY SPECIALIST(SR)

DSD Laboratories Inc is in search of a Sr. Information Assurance/Security Specialist to work in Washington DC area.
The Candidate will provide technical support for independent verification and validation (IV&V) associated with the requirements identified in the Initiation Phase, Certification Phase, Accreditation Phase and Continuous Monitoring. Candidates will perform verification and validation activities in accordance with NIST guidance. The candidate must be able to :
· Conduct quantitative review of C&A packages for NIST and OMB compliance to include review of Phase II Accreditation documents
· Document review results within an approved checklist
· Develop specific documentation for C&A and security program activities relating to IV&V
The candidate must be able to support the team with NIST and FISMA compliant testing of relevant security controls; develop risk mitigation plans; implement risk mitigation and update risk assessment documentation. The candidate must be able to provide POA&M support through remediation, compliance assessment; bi-weekly status reporting and preparation of support documentationRequired Qualifications:
