Responsible for controlling and managing office operations, including, office administration; drafting, writing and editing reports; preparing graphics for briefings and public relations brochures; finance, accounting, and records keeping, office receptionist; coordinating and scheduling meetings; preparation of routine reports and deliverables.

Applications Developer

Performs assigned portions of design, programming, and documentation of ADP, to include web and portal, systems. Participates in all phases of software, web and portal development with emphasis on the designing, programming, testing, documentation, and acceptance phases. Could be involved in requirements gathering and definition. Formulates system scope through research and fact finding. Analyzes program specifications to assure accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards. Analyzes applications software to resolve moderately complex problems. Determines efficient methods to code program changes and implements. Creates test data to verify program accuracy. Debugs complex programs and develops corrections by altering the sequence of operations. Presents studies and briefings to customers.

Applications Systems Analyst

Conducts logical analyses of management problems and plans, develops, and administers policies covering several broad functional areas, engineering disciplines, or key contracts. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs. May be involved in related areas such as database design/management, evaluation of COTS products, and analysis of network hardware/software issues. Ensures deliverable products are compliant with appropriate standards and/or specifications. Serves as technical advisor to clients, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation. Provides analyses related to the implementation of software products including, but not limited to INFOSEC utility software, INFOSEC development software, and INFOSEC diagnostic software. Performs design, development, integration and testing of complex high-tech concepts and system architectures. Possesses a broad knowledge of technology, applications and customer requirements. Has in depth understanding of technology to include engineering, system design, complex analysis, computer design and architectures, network architectures and protocols, IEEE standards, and military/commercial standards. Trained to apply and/or develop advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts related to technical disciplines.

Configuration Management Specialist

Develops and administers the CM plan for software and hardware systems, and implements instructions for assigned programs. Controls configuration baselines and interfaces through Engineering Change Proposal/Specification processing; fulfill such contract data requirements as preparing drafts, forwarding correspondence, preparing and processing CM-required data items; and compiles, prepares, maintains the master records for the establishment and change of configuration baselines, engineering release system, configuration item development record (including the configuration index and change status listing), and configuration status accounting.

Data Warehousing Specialist

Defines database administration policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines. Is an authority of the design of databases and data warehouses and these of database management systems. Evaluates and recommends available DBMS products. Designs, implements, and manages data warehouses. Defines, designs and implements large, complex database systems. Experienced in engineering, business analysis, systems functional analysis, quality management, database development, organizational strategic planning, or data administration and standardization. Is a database architect.

Database Specialist

Employs current DBMS technologies, application design utilizing various database management systems, and is experienced with DBMS internals. Responsible for DBMS systems analysis and programming and demonstrates the ability to work independently or under only general direction. Manages the development of database projects. Plans and budgets staff and database resources. When necessary, reallocates resources to maximize benefits. Prepares and delivers presentations on Database Management Systems (DBMS) concepts. Develops data models using state-of-the-are database modeling tools, data dictionaries, normalizes data models, cleanses and standardizes data, and functions as database manager and administrator.

Disaster Recovery Specialist

Defines requirements, develops policies, procedures, and plans and then tests Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operation Plans. Ensures data/media recovery by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations. Supports media management through

internal methods and procedures or through offsite storage and retrieval services. Resolves moderately complex systems problems. Analyzes and enhances data security controls. Educates end-users on computer security and disaster recovery issues.

Hardware Engineer

Defines requirements, designs, develops, implements, tests, and repairs hardware products. Applies enterprise-wide set of disciplines for planning, analyzing, implementing, designing, and constructing information systems enterprise-wide or across a major sector of the enterprise. Includes analyzing communications network systems, including planning, designing, evaluating, selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices; develops, operates, and maintains voice, wireless, video, and data systems; resolves interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia, video and teleconferencing, and the like.

Helpdesk Specialist

Possesses knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in network troubleshooting and support as well as modems, data scopes, patch panels, concentrators, associated terminals, and network management software. Knowledge of or certification in one or more specific applications or processes may be required, depending on job assignment. Performs installation, configuration, and upgrade of computer hardware and software; provides end-user software troubleshooting and support; applies advanced diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions; provides network troubleshooting and support; may participate in the administration and design of websites; participates in the administration of email systems; provides phone and help-desk support for local and off-site users; assists lower level technicians with complex problems.

Information Assurance/Security

Analyzes existing environment, tests, and develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Federal guidance including FISMA, OMB Circular A- 130, FIPS Pub 140-2, DIACAP and NIACAP, HSPD-12 and other evolving policies and regulations. Evaluates, develops and/or analyzes Information Systems (IS) or Information Technology (IT) applied to information architectures/information warfare technologies. Assists in identifying Information Security (INFOSEC) requirements of existing computer hardware and software. Works with customers at the highest levels to recommend systems solutions for vulnerability assessments, systems security, intrusion detection, network security engineering, forensics, and network assessments.

Network Specialist

Responsible for the planning, design, acquisition, installation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN/MAN systems, electronic mail, telecommunications, and PC based systems and related software; evaluates hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and telecommunications equipment; sets up and administers security procedures; troubleshoots problems; establishes and implements policies and their conformance; provides guidance on common networking issues; assesses vendor products; manages network performance, troubleshoots problems, and maintains network security.

Quality Assurance

Provides information systems computer hardware and software analysis and document quality assurance and control support. Analyzes policies and regulations, designs, develops and implements Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans. Designs and monitors performance metrics and quality surveillance plans. Makes recommendations When SQA is applicable, it will include SQA planning, implementation of procedures, program manning and performance, and/or management of SQA reviews. Working knowledge and/or familiarity with government agencies and/or Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DIICOE), NAVLAP Common Criteria, government and/or agencies acquisition practices and policies and the higher order programming language specified in the delivery order to develop the required software.

Subject Matter Expert

Provides functional or scientific expertise in a given field. Provides technically specialized guidance with regard to the design, security, and engineering of business process, data, infrastructure, and applications systems. Performs logical analysis of complex scientific engineering and other technical or business problems and formulates solutions.

Test Engineer

Participates in all phases of software development with emphasis on the programming, testing, documentation, and acceptance phases. Prepares test plans for pilot, system, and integration testing and develops appropriate test scripts. Capable of functioning in a software quality assurance role. Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation and makes charts and graphs to record results. Prepares debugging reports and can conduct debugging operations. Provides recommendations for these of automated testing tools and procedures.

Training Specialist

Experience applying comprehensive knowledge to develop and conduct technical training courses on system and software applications. Must be familiar with the principles of creating teaching outlines in accordance with established guidelines. Under minimal supervision, performs technical training in field of expertise. Creates teaching outlines where established guidelines may not exist; selects and/or develops instructional aids, such as handouts, reference materials, or audio/ visual supports; maintains records and statistical information on employee training; monitors training program by reviewing and analyzing student course evaluations; prepares and produces operator and administrator manuals and training courses for operators and administrators on automated systems; and makes recommendations to management on course improvement and customer training needs.

Voice/Data Communications

Analyzes, designs, builds, tests, implements, and maintains computer or telecommunications networks and systems. Provides expertise on LAN/WAN/MAN, data, voice, or video telecommunications systems and either landline, wireless, ground, airborne, or space systems.

Provides guidance for and implements interfaces between systems and networks. Capable of conducting research and providing recommendations on highly technical and complex systems and networks.
